How does the session actually begin?
Depending on your preference, you and Sarah will connect by phone or text before the session. Before that conversation ends, you’ll agree on a specific start time. At that time, you’ll both press play on the same piece of music, and you’ll settle into a comfortable place to rest while Sarah begins the ritual. The music is chosen to match the length of your session, so it naturally signals when the ritual has come to a close.
How soon after the session do I receive my follow-up?
I’ll send you a brief text once I have closed the ritual. After your session, I take some time to gather my notes and reflections before sending your follow-up email, typically within 2–3 days. The email will include any intuitive impressions, observations, and recommendations that came through during your session.
Are the intuitive insights sent by email, text, or voice note?
After your session, I take some time to gather my notes and reflections before sending your follow-up email, typically within 2–3 days. The intuitive insights are included in that email.
Roughly how long should I plan to set aside beyond the session itself?
The conversation beforehand typically lasts anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes, depending on what you’d like to share. The ritual itself remains approximately 60 minutes, so plan to reserve about 65 to 90 minutes from the start of that conversation through the close of the ritual. If possible, Sarah recommends keeping the rest of your day relatively gentle so your nervous system has space to integrate, though this is never required.
Do I need to be on a video call?
No. Sarah confirms the ritual timing and connection method with you beforehand. You can receive while resting privately in your own space.
Do I need headphones for a remote ritual?
Headphones are not required, but Sarah highly recommends them. Listening closely to the music chosen by Sarah, by you, or together can help you settle into the shared rhythm of the ritual and support a stronger sense of connection across the distance.
What if I do not feel anything during the ritual?
That is completely okay. Sensation is not a measure of whether you received care. Rest, images, emotion, sleep, subtle shifts, or noticing very little are all valid responses.
Do I need a perfect intention?
No. You can arrive with a clear intention, a feeling, a question, or simply the sense that something needs care. You and Sarah can shape the starting point together.
Is Reiki medical treatment?
No. Sarah offers complementary spiritual and wellness support. Reiki does not diagnose, treat, or replace medical, mental-health, or veterinary care.
